  • 1 piece bagel
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • cream cheese for spreading
  • pepper to taste
  • chives finely chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Fry the diced bacon in a pan until crispy. Then let it drain on a paper towel.
  • Cut the bagel in half and toast it.
  • Spread cream cheese on it.
  • Sprinkle the cheddar over the halves. Then sprinkle the bacon on top.
  • Broil the bagel halves in the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  • Season the bacon cheddar bagel with pepper to taste. Sprinkle chopped chives on top. Enjoy together or as an open faced breakfast.
