MACERATED STRAWBERRIES
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- ⅓ cup granulated white sugar
MATCHA OATS
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 ⅓ cup milk of choice 1 ¼ cup for very thick consistency
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the diced strawberries with the white sugar. Mix together and let it sit for 30 minutes.
To another bowl, combine the oats with milk, matcha, vanilla, and maple syrup. Mix together really well.
To jars, add a layer of the strawberries on the bottom, then vanilla yogurt if using, and finally the vanilla matcha oats on top.
Pop in the fridge to soak and thicken overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours if you can't wait that long. Enjoy the next morning!
