To Make The Crispy Chicken
- 350 g Chicken Breast
- 1 Egg White
- 70 g Cornflour
- Oil For Frying
Chicken Marinade
- 1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce Or Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Paste
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon White Pepper
Honey Chilli Chicken Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Paste
- 2 tablespoon Honey
- 2 tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Sweet Chilli Sauce Or Sriracha
- 3 tablespoon Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Chinese Rice Vinegar
Preparation
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Place the chicken into a large mixing bowl and add the marinade ingredients.
Add an egg white into the chicken and mix well.
Pour cornflour into a large plate or bowl and coat each piece of chicken.
Shallow fry 3 to 4 pieces of chicken for 1 to 2 minutes and then fry them again for 2 to 3 minutes to get them crispy.
Making the Sauce
Heat a clean wok or frying pan on medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil and fry the garlic for 15 seconds.
Add the sauce ingredients and mix until evenly distributed, leaving to simmer until bubbling and thickened.
Add the chicken pieces into the sauce and mix until evenly coated.
