  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Prepare Ingredients: Chop the beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic. Set aside.
  • Brown the Beef (Optional): In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef cubes on all sides for added flavor.
  • Combine Ingredients: In the slow cooker, add the browned beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic. Pour in the beef broth.
  • Season the Stew: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  • Set the Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
