Mango Iced Tea

This refreshing mango iced tea combines black tea, mango nectar, and honey, garnished with fresh fruit. Perfect for hot days!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups water
  • 6 bags black tea English breakfast tea recommended
  • 2 cups mango nectar or juice
  • to taste honey optional
  • 1 ½ cups fresh mango slices reserve a few for garnish
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • mint sprigs for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a boil then pour it into a heat safe pitcher. Add the tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes or until desired level of strength.
  • Stir in the mango nectar. Add honey to taste if desired.
  • Add the mango slices, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
  • Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  • Stir in the raspberries right before serving. Pour into glasses with ice and garnish with reserved mango slices and mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

If you prefer a stronger tea, let the tea bags steep for 5 minutes. For tea with a less intense flavor, let the bags steep for 3 minutes. You can use mango nectar or mango juice in this recipe.
