Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs sweet apples (Gala, Fuji, or McIntosh)
  • 10 cups water
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 inches fresh ginger
  • 2 sticks cinnamon sticks
  • 2 teaspoon black peppercorns

Instructions
 

  • Wash and quarter the apples without peeling.
  • In an Instant Pot, combine apples, sliced ginger, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, and water. Cook on high pressure for 18 minutes. For stovetop method, bring to a boil in a pot then simmer for about 30 minutes until apples are soft.
  • Strain the mixture into a pitcher using a fine mesh sieve to catch solids.
  • Allow the tea to cool before sealing in a container.
  • Serve hot or chilled and enjoy every sip!
