Dough Ingredients
- 3 cups Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- ½ cup Milk warm
- 1 Egg
- 3 tablespoon Natural Yoghurt
- ⅓ cup Water
- 5 tablespoon Melted butter To butter the Naan
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, instant yeast, salt, vegetable oil, milk, egg, yoghurt and half the water.
Knead until the dough comes together. The dough will be slightly sticky and thats ok.
Add the rest of the water if the dough is too dry.
Cover with a damp cloth and set aside to rise for 3 hours.
Pinch a small piece of dough and roll out.
Place the rolled naan in a tawa or hot frying pan and cook both sides.
Slather in butter and cover with a tea towel until all the naan are cooked.
Serve warm.
