  • Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • First Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl. Cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm area for roughly 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Filling and Baking

  • Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and softened butter until it resembles a crumbly mixture.
  • Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release the air. Roll it out into a rectangular shape about 16x12 inches on a floured surface.
  • Add Filling: Evenly spread the prepared filling mixture over the rolled-out dough, making sure to leave a small border.
  • Roll and Cut: Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut it into 12 equal pieces.
