Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen meatballs
  • 1.5 cups beef broth or stock
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix about 1 oz
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  • Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker
  • Add beef broth, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix
  • Stir well to coat the meatballs evenly
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 3 to 6 hours
  • Remove a small amount of liquid and mix with cornstarch until smooth
  • Return mixture to the slow cooker and stir
  • Cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes until sauce thickens
  • Serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or as an appetizer

Notes

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze for up to 3 months after cooling completely. Reheat gently with a splash of broth to keep sauce smooth. No need to thaw meatballs before cooking. Add onions or mushrooms for extra flavor. Increase broth and cornstarch if you prefer more sauce.
